8th Birthday

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, when you turn 8 you are baptized. In April of 2017 my sweet daughter was able to be baptized and I was lucky enough to get time to make her a cake. We chose this layered ruffle look with handmade sugar roses and the CTR design on the top (CTR stands for "Choose the Right"). She isn't a super girly girl and loves the color green. The cake was vanilla flavored with a strawberry filling. Her favorite!

Zebra Print and Peac Signs.

We had Young Women's Personal Progress night or something like that a couple weeks ago. One of the Young Women asked me to teach her how to make cakes. She came over one day and looked at pictures for inspiration and ideas. Then she came over one day to make the cake and fill it. She came a third day and we shaped and decorated. I didn't do really much of anything except shape the cake. She did such a good job. I wanted to show pictures of the cake because it's a really fun cake.

Oregon cupcakes

These cupcakes are filled with a differant colored batter on the inside. They are a plain vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. When you bite into the middle of these they are green making it a fun surprise. We can do any color. They are perfect for announcing the gender of your baby. We could fill them with pink for girls and blue for boys. I don't have any pictures of the inside because my children ate all of them before I had a chance. These ones are yellow with green in the middle to celebrate Oregon.

I striped the frosting with green for the Oregon game.

I was so excited with how they turned out.

Missionary Birthday

Ambers birthday was on halloween and I really wanted to send her a cake so I did. I don't know if it will make it safely but we are going to try for the fun of it. If it doesn't make it, it will stll taste good and we got pictures just in case. I made a dark chocolate cake turtle cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate fudge frosting. Add some caramel, pecans and dark chocolate cake and it's absolutely divine. Happy Very Late Birthday Amber.
