Shaped cakes are always fun. I get to practice my drawing skills. I usually have to hand draw the template and then "color" the cake in.
This playful little t-rex was just what my youngest asked for.

I was happy with the result and my step-daughter loved it.
Grease Monkey
I had a child ask for a mechanic cake. Simply because their daddy is a mechanic and their daddy is their hero.
So we made a topsy Turvey cake with some washed lego wheels and screw drivers with grease dripping down the cake (chocolate ganache).
Football
My step-son is starting to get into football, so it made sense to make football shaped cakes. The cakes were chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting. The grass is coconut with green food coloring.

I love baked donuts. They are perfect for a little treat and these flavors are perfect for the fall.

Grandmas Peach Cobbler
This recipe belongs to my sweet Grandma. This recipe is my favorite of hers. When I was 8 years old and got Baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, this was the dessert I wanted after my baptism. She was happy to make it.
Just a couple weeks ago my grandma returned to our Father in Heaven. This recipe will be one I cherish forever and share with everyone.
